What the dustmen saw
...was an earth-savingly small bag of refuse outside my house. This is highly unusual and would have surprised them, perhaps even more than the fact that I'd put it out last night and didn't come bounding up the road after them in my jammies.
What a difference a week sans children makes! The only things in the bag were four empty frozen veg packets, the remains of the salad draw and a couple of microwave chicken dinner things. Oh, and a rabbit that's all out of rampant.
I double bagged.

Now that is one good reason to double bag! You wouldn't want to scare the refuse operatives now would you!

Lmao. I triple wrapped mine and put it inside something else. Im not sure who Im more terrified of finding my corpses - the dustbinmen or Husband when he puts the bags out...

Funny how everyone that meets me at the bottle bank thinks I must have held a damn good party the night before... *blush*
How many weeks or months did it take to wreck your Rabbit? Do you think you were expecting too much of the poor little animal and gave it a heart attack?
Is "salad draw" something to do with drugs?
I had to think there if the rabbit was of the type you'd take to the vet or not! DOH!
You brave gal! Our binmen have a good rummage through our bins to check for unsuitable items - I'd love to have seen what they'd made of the unrampant one!
I've heard of a few rabbits being broken recently, as Vi says, must be something in the air...
I've had it over a year but I have to say it only got intermittent use during that time. Obviously the sudden burst of activity was what done for it!
Sadly, the salad draw is a reference to body-mending lettuces and not mind-bending drugs.
For the record, the double-eared ones are just as unreliable!
