How d'ya like me now?
Busy, busy, busy. Mostly in a good way.
I reckon I'll have time to draw breath around tuesday or wednesday but in the meantime, this week is my one year blogday so I thought I'd celebrate by designing me a new template.
Whad'ya think?

Grr. I've just noticed some things I'm very not happy with. Link colours, the lack of a post separator and suchlike. Feel free to throw constructive criticism at me while I'm still twiddling around with things.

You know, I have only been here twice before and I dont remember the way it looked, but I don't really like the new format. Too pink, too girly, I get the sense that is part, but not all of you. From a completely visual standpoint, it doesn't pull together. What was wrong with your previous border? Something that would match your snap, would be better. No?
Just one American's opinion.

Catherine - welcome to my box and thank you muchly for your honesty. I blended barbed wire and spiked chains with the pink flowers and balloons to try and give a sense of the spikiness that lies within the pink, fluffy exterior I habitually show the world but maybe you're right and I should celebrate my snap more than I have done in this design. Food for thought...
I've just noticed FUSSY FICTION! When the hell did THAT one happen? I'm gonna go check that one out now (and also vote for you of course!)
It is a bit pink, but at least it's not white writing on a black fucking background!

Hi Freddy! Yep, I hate that too - far too difficult to read! I've deepened the tones because the pink was too light.
No doubt I'll twiddle a bit more till I'm happy so do continue to let me know how it looks on other screens.
I don't know Angela, it looks kind of scary, like if you were a stalker sending your ex lover ballons with spikes and razors instead of a string. I know you are a bit scary Ange but surely not that scary??

I don't know if I'm looking after it pre or post tweaking, but it looks really good from here.
And for the record, I think the barbed wire on the roses works really well.

Hm, if I were to say one thing, I'd rather see the barbed wire on the top masthead be completely horrizontal and not slightly crooked as it is now. But I really like that it's not too busy. Nice job. I take it we will expect further changes?
